Nassau, The Bahamas

Hi, Every One!

We finally made it to Nassau! Never travel by sailboat if you want to make time! We left Florida late Saturday afternoon, sailed all night, had breakfast by a rock out in the middle of the ocean, overnighted on the Great Banks with a 360 degree ocean view, and arrived Morgans Bluff, Andros where we checked in and spent a couple of nights. We had a near perfect sail from there to Nassau yesterday. 20K winds and beautiful seas. Seems we spend alot of time on anchor so a day of sailing is a gift!

We've continued to travel with 'Good Medicine'. Picked up another boat, 'Unplugged', along the way as well. We will have another day with them here in Nassau before they leave to head south to the Exumas. We'll head in that direction as well after the kids join us on Wednesday.

We're in good company and enjoying being tourists in Nassau. Looking forward to making our way down island with promises of beautiful anchorages and fantastic fishes!

Easter Blessings to all of you. Thanks for staying in touch.

Love,
Judy and Phil

Envy is a bad thing but I have to admit to it!!! I know when Mar comes in like a lamb it has to go out like a lion but a couple days would be sufficient , not two wks.!!!!
Keep those beautiful,WARM pics coming,

You're still @ sea! Wow!
At last I get to check out Blogspot! Missoula's into SPRING: 50&60 by day, chilly 28 by nite & some moistening showers are most welcomed by us inlanders. Duke's great, Mr C is busy w/ the strings, a weekend @ Quinn's, local symphony & a dinner party for 22 are recent highlights here, & busy w/ the drunks & addicts in my $job. This site is great -- will revisit soon!
May winds bless your way...
XOX, Beth
