Merry Christmas! That little red spot you see on the deck is me hoisting Phil to the top of the mast on Christmas morning! Some people open Christmas gifts and check stockings.....

We're currently in Ft. Lauderdale awaiting the arrival of a diesel mechanic. Thought I'd planned ahead by traveling with Santa aboard this Christmas. Next season I won't leave home without a diesel mechanic! Will save you the details of the past 24 hrs. except to say that we had a lovely Christmas Eve dinner at a lovely Florida inlet and are enjoying Christmas at an equally lovely Ft. Lauderdale mooring. Phil's loving his Christmas in shorts and flip-flops. Me? Well, let's just say I'd trade them in a heart beat for a pair of jeans, boots and a sweater! Someday I plan to write a book on the male gender's plummeting testosterone levels and it's correlation to temperatures!

With any luck at all we'll cross over to the Bahamas on Thursday a.m. when the weather window looks good.
